This hand-made ceramic bowl was crafted in 2020. It’s made from Low Fire Longhorn White Clay and is hand-painted with a matte white base glaze and green Stroke & Coat food-safe glaze. The bowl is approximately 2.75″ tall and 6″ in diameter. The Eat Me bowl was wheel thrown by Kimberly Koltcz, bisque fired to cone 04. It was then hand-painted with a base of matte white. The interior is primarily Stroke & Coat green, with the words “eat me” left in the matte white alone. The exterior features a grooved texture and the same green glaze as the interior with decorative drips coming off of the rim and down the outside of the bowl and a green band below the midline. This is a low fire bowl, but since it is completely covered in food-safe glaze it is food and dishwasher safe. This one-of-a-kind hand-made ceramic bowl would make a great gift for a stubborn child (or adult!) who needs to finish the food they take!
